Excellent Headset for Noisy Environments
and Extremely Accurate
This
is my personal preference for Headsets to use on voice
recognition. People with disabilities find that headsets allow
them to maintain microphone position constantly for the quality control
they seek during dictation, while reducing the exposure to computer
keyboards. Office users find that headsets offer them the
versatility and freedom for using their hands reducing the exposure to
Carpal Tunnel often associated with constantly working on
keyboards..
The Anti-noise canceling
feature works great in a busy office environment. Extremely high quality
for the price and the headset feature keeps the microphone at the exact
location for dictation all the time.
The Andrea ANC-700 has a
quick disconnect plug that allows you to disconnect from the computer
without having to take off the headset, a very convenient feature not
found in others.
The mute button is a
great feature in that it allows you to "pause" the dictation
process without having to stop the program. This eliminates all the
little extra words that appear when turning off and on the microphone.
The headset comes with an
amplifier that improves the quality of the audio when being connected to
laptops. Laptops generally have a problems with accurate dictation
due to the built in soundcard, whereas the desktops have the capability
to install high quality soundcards for increased audio quality.
